Arrived early 6 AM in Iceland. Customs hall was full of plastic covered machines standing in wait for use. We were processed in the old fashioned way by individual agent.

Few locals on streets- just tourists, high end brand name stores with no one shopping. Very Asian-like. Lots of cranes with residential building infill.
Use of graphics – written statements are prolific with quirky back remarks such as our hotel door tag: “Ja, Please Help, This room is a mess”. Or on the elevators in our hotel in large Letters.
